Being a retired network administrator we were looking for something to occupy or spare time and also bring on some extra cash. Looking around the garage we discovered a bunch of spare parts that we had accumulated through the years of messing with cars and hot rods. We decided to start selling off some of this extra inventory.
We did this by selling them on eBay. A few of our car buddies heard that we were doing this and ask if we would list some of their stuff for them many of them are computer challenged. We got to thinking that there must be more like them and "Parts and Things" was born.
Currently we only sell on eBay but in the not to distant future we will be putting up a web site so that we can offer a different venue to also sell automotive items.
We also video tape nostalgia races for a group called the Geezer Gassers. At the end of the racing season we combine and edit the footage and create a DVD for the year called Gasser Wars, so far we have one for 2004, 2005 and working on 2006. We sell these DVD's to the Geezer Gassers and other gasser fans. Gasser Wars 2005 has been sold on eBay too.
